Compiled in layers of sweet and tart, this cake is for those who crave the zest in life. Bold flavor really shines in the tart Liliko’i curd and its citrus accents are highlighted with the sweetness of the raspberry jelly. Layered with a pastry cream, these bold notes are mellowed by its rich creamy texture with rounding undertones of liliko’i flavor. Completing each bite is the satisfying crunch of the white chocolate macadamia nut Feuilletine. 

Design Inspiration 

Inspired by Designer Luna Curtois, co-founder alongside Indie Pyzel for Benoa swim, this design is an adaptation of their popular hibiscus swimsuit pattern. Inspired by the 90’s Hawai’i surf aesthetic, Sugar and Poi’s interpretation evokes a vintage island feel that is meant to be the iconic centerpiece of any celebration.
